Setareh Soroush
Setareh Soroush is an Associate Attorney at Shegerian & Associates, where she advocates for employees facing discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other workplace injustices. Her background supporting domestic violence prevention, femicide awareness, and women’s rights work fuels her dedication to protecting individuals impacted by systemic inequality.
Setareh earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where she served as an Advocate with the Trial Advocacy Honors Program. She excelled in multiple mock trial competitions, earning both finalist and semifinalist distinctions for her courtroom advocacy and strategic litigation approach. During law school, she also contributed to the Southwestern Journal of International Law and received two Bluebook Awards for her excellence in legal research and writing.
Her legal experience spans both public and private practice, including civil litigation, employment law, and civil rights. This work strengthened her understanding of the challenges faced by underserved communities—from housing insecurity to economic barriers disproportionately affecting vulnerable populations.
Outside of her practice, Setareh values continuous learning, thoughtful reflection, and experiences that broaden her worldview and deepen her connection to the communities she serves.
