Adriana Burga brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to justice to her role as a Trial Attorney at Shegerian & Associate. She is a passionate advocate dedicated to representing individuals who have experienced workplace injustices, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination, with a focus on achieving meaningful outcomes for her clients. Her comprehensive litigation experience and commitment to excellence and client advocacy began at Shegerian & Associates, where she contributed as a legal assistant and California Bar Certified Law Clerk before advancing to the role of Associate Attorney. Ms. Burga’s meticulous approach to litigation includes drafting pleadings, managing discovery, conducting legal research, and supporting clients through all stages of their cases.

With a robust background in serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence, Ms. Burga brings a compassionate and empathetic perspective to her legal practice. There, she spearheaded initiatives supporting survivors, providing legal information, courtroom preparation, and crisis intervention. Her work underscored her unwavering dedication to serving vulnerable populations.

Ms. Burga earned her Juris Doctor degree from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, she demonstrated exceptional leadership as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Executive Board, Associate Editor of the Law Review, Mock Trial Champion, and a Jessup International Law Moot Court competitor. Her leadership and advocacy were celebrated with many accolades such as the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan’s Outstanding Woman Law Student Award.

Ms. Burga also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with honors from Pepperdine University, where she was recognized for her academic achievements and community involvement.

Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Burga remains dedicated to advancing fairness and equity in her community. Outside the office, she enjoys dancing, playing basketball, and traveling.
