Anthony is a highly regarded disability advocate with extensive experience protecting workers’ rights and holding employers accountable.

A proud Bay Area native, Anthony Gavrilchenko was born and raised in San Jose, California. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he served on the executive board of the Labor and Employment Law Society, secured funding for public interest clerkship grants, and honed his skills as a member of the Client Counseling team. Anthony is passionate about advocating for employees facing workplace injustices and fighting vigorously to ensure their rights are protected.

Before joining Shegerian & Associates, Anthony dedicated years to public service, focusing on white-collar prosecution and labor law enforcement. He helped litigate worker misclassification cases against major California employers, contributing to a multi-million dollar settlement for gig economy workers in San Francisco. He was also part of the prosecution team that successfully removed a Bay Area elected official from office for corruption and misconduct. Anthony also helped adjudicate federal unfair labor practices cases, and worked on complex civil prosecutions, gaining litigation experience against top-tier defense counsel for some of the nation’s largest employers.
