Camila Alvarez is an Associate Attorney at Shegerian & Associates, where she combines determination, tactical insight, and a deep commitment to client advocacy. Camila is an advocate that has dedicated her career to providing zealous, competent legal representation to individuals seeking justice. Camila is passionate about representing individuals whose voices are often overlooked and works tirelessly to ensure their rights are protected. She approaches every case with focus, integrity, and a drive to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Prior to joining Shegerian & Associates, Camila was the Legal Director at the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN), Los Angeles, where she represented hundreds of clients in their removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and gained extensive litigation, policy and advocacy, and legal services management experience. Camila’s commitment to social justice and expanding access to counsel motivated her to join Shegerian & Associates, where she now zealously advocates for justice for her clients.

Camila earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she served as Co-President of La Raza de Loyola and was Co-Chair of the Immigration Law Society. In addition, Camila was a Certified Law Student in Loyola’s Juvenile Justice Clinic and Immigrant Justice Clinic and was a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Team. Upon her graduation from Loyola, Camila was awarded the Dean’s Service Award due to her outstanding service to Loyola Law School through participation in student activities and community affairs. She holds a B.A. in English from UC Riverside and is fluent in Spanish.
