Jenna Kingkade is an Associate Attorney with Shegerian & Associates. Her work as an employment discrimination lawyer includes all aspects of case management in employment discrimination matters, including taking and defending depositions, pre-trial motions, case management, and case mediations. Ms. Kingkade studied at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law where she focused on sexual harassment and employment law. In addition to her law degree, Ms. Kingkade earned a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies with a concentration in human rights from the University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to her arrival at Shegerian & Associates, Ms. Kingkade worked for the State of California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing as a Civil Rights Fellow. There, she gained experience as a civil rights lawyer by representing the Department in mediations of several employment and housing discrimination cases and drafting analyses of two bills that would impact civil rights laws, which were later submitted to the Governor of California. While in law school, Ms. Kingkade advanced workers’ rights as a Law Clerk for the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy, where she helped commercial drivers secure disability benefits and fight against employer retaliation.
