Avraham Kalaf is an attorney in the Santa Monica office of Shegerian & Associates. Mr. Kalaf’s practice focuses on plaintiff’s side employment litigation, especially in the areas of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination. He has also worked on wage and hour disputes involving meal and rest break regulations and overtime.

Prior to joining Shegerian & Associates, Mr. Kalaf worked for another prominent employment law firm in San Diego, was a legal intern in the Civil Division of the San Diego City Attorney’s Office and participated in the Community Law Project, a pro-bono legal clinic offered by California Western School of Law to help educate low income individuals about the legal system and their rights.

Mr. Kalaf earned his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law graduating cum laude while completing the program in two years. Mr. Kalaf received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

During law school, Mr. Kalaf was a board member of California Western Business Law Society and led large and small group tutoring for 1L students. In addition to being an Academic Scholarship recipient, Mr. Kalaf received the Academic Achievement Award in Property I and Federal Income Tax, and was inducted into the Public Service Honors Society.
