Nare Avagyan is an Associate Attorney with Shegerian & Associates. She litigates all aspects of plaintiff’s side employment law cases from the initiation of the lawsuit leading to trial. She has experience drafting and filing complaints with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Superior Court. She has also successfully opposed and argued demurrers and motions to strike plaintiff’s complaints, including opposing a number of Special Motions to Strike (anti-SLAPP motions). She has drafted, opposed, and argued ex parte applications, opposition to motion for summary judgment, oppositions to motions to remand and transfer venue, and various other motions. She has taken and defended numerous depositions of key fact, third party, and expert witnesses. Passionate about her work on behalf of the firm’s clients, she handles a large caseload of complex employment law matters.
